Manasvi Kansotiya
I am Manasvi Kansotiya, a 9th grader at St. Mark's Sr Sec Public School, Meera Bagh, New Delhi. My first experience with GVC has helped me gain a lot of knowledge about the indigenous tribes around the world. It has sensitised me about the problems and threats faced by these tribes in India and Africa, and the laws made by the government to protect these tribes. The history of the endemic tribes has taught me a lot about the ancient world. Some of these ancient tribes later on became civilizations and have played a major role in shaping today's world. GVC has given me an opportunity to educate myself about these tribes. It has broadened my horizon and shaped perspective about the world.

Global Virtual Classroom gave me a golden opportunity to connect with the students on the other side of the globe using technology. This event has given me a different and brighter outlook towards culture and distance that I have realised are simply barriers which the technology has allowed us to cross. In the process, I have made new friends and discovered both differences and similarities between us. Further, I have learnt to collaborate and work in a team. The program allowed me to develop my skills as well as gain knowledge about our topic, the indigeneous tribes. In a nutshell, creating this website was an extraordinary and valuable journey.

Participating in GVC has been a meaningful and enriching experience. It provided me with an opportunity to learn about the unique histories, traditions, and perspectives of the indigenous communities around the world, as well as the challenges they face in today's world. By learning about indigenous cultures, we could gain a deeper understanding about their cultures and appreciate the importance of preserving these cultures for future generations. We also developed awareness of the ways in which indigenous communities have been marginalized and oppressedin the past. After working on this project, I am committed to work in promoting social justice and equity. Participation in GVC and the great collaboration with my friends from the Walton Middle School in the US has helped us develop greater respect for cultural understanding. In a nutshell, participating in this project about indigenous tribes became a powerful way to learn, grow, and connect with others who share a passion for cultural diversity and social justice.

My journey throughout GVC has been both challenging and rewarding as it motivated me to move outside of my comfort zone and taught me in more ways than I could have imagined. One of the main challenges was ensuring that all team members are on the same page and have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities. However, despite the challenges, working in GVC gave me a greater understanding and appreciation of different ways of thinking, communicating, and problem-solving. In conclusion, it was indeed a fruitful experience.
