OUR JOURNEY

OUR FIRST MEET

As said by Henry Ford, “Coming together is beginning, keeping together is progress; working together is success.”

On September 27 2022 , the journey of this year’s Global Virtual Classroom (GVC) started. Over 20 students participated enthusiastically and the first meeting took place wherein we discussed about our upcoming venture. After multiple sessions of brainstorming and a mutual agreement with our partner school, Leslie H. Walton Middle School, Charlottesville, VA, the topic “Indigenous Cultures Around The World” was finalized. Further, various sub-topics were chosen like- History, Facts, Myths and Legends, Cultures and many more. On December 8, two Padlets were created - Ancient Indigenous Tribes and Modern Indigenous Tribes.

on 9th December 2022, we had our first video conferencing with our partner school wherein the students exchanged their ideas, a PPT and a video prepared by our school was presented. Moving further, students entered various areas of their interests.

On 19 and 22 December, students of classes engaged in theme based Poster-Making activity and Mask-Making activity. We are in the onward journey of this year’s GVC and looking forward to a great and fruitful participation.

Our Senior GVC team is all set to build the website!

On 10 February 2023, our team GVC held a zoom meeting with their partner school, Leslie H. Walton Middle School, Virginia, America wherein our students discussed the content and layout of the website in detail with their counterparts. The meeting was divided into different breakout rooms which allowed student groups to discuss their research work and decide their plan of action for the website.
