An interview taken by Pradyuman Sapra on impacts of Covid-19 and lessons we learnt through them.
ABOUT COVID-19
Covid-19 is a pandemic which taught us a lot of lessons. On 31st December 2019, a cluster of cases of pneumonia of an unknown cause broke out in the city of Wuhan. In January 2020 this disease was identified and named as COVID-19.It created a devastating impact on the mankind. It also led to extreme poverty and caused reduction in productivity. Now we will talk about the lessons that this pandemic taught us.
HYGIENE HELPS
Before this pandemic, hygiene was not given any importance. People would consider hygiene as an optional thing and didn’t pay any attention towards it. But now during this pandemic we have learnt how important it is to maintain self-cleanliness. People now have started washing their hands after every hour and so. Sanitizers which were earlier not a necessity are now available at every shop and household.
LEARN TO APPRECIATE NATURE
During the lockdown we learnt how precious nature is and started appreciating it. When we were strictly locked in our houses we missed going outside for playing, shopping etc. whereas before nothing was like this. We had freedom of going outside and playing.
IMPORTANCE OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY
This pandemic has also taught us how valuable friends and family are! People who have suffered from this disease know this much better as they had to live away from their family and be quarantined.

There is a familiar axiom ' there is acceptable in each detestable ' that I will presently use as a minuscule relief in this troublesome, sudden time. As a youthful teen, trust me it is hard managing the present circumstance, and to every individual who is understanding this and feeling defenseless, I simply need to reveal to you that you are in good company, and it will be better!
I'm mindful of all that has been detracted from us because of the present circumstance, of the multitude of undiscovered plans, be it birthday celebrations, voyages, weddings ... what's more, tragically, we can't do anything about it. Yet, we are not feeble! Despite what is generally expected, it is we all together that can improve the world a spot. In the event that every one of us regards the actions forced by specialists, the circumstance will improve and it will pass a lot quicker than anticipated.
I can single out separation - remaining at home – as perhaps the main measures. I realize it sounds troublesome and trust me, from the start this sounded difficult to me, simply impossible. I thought that it was hard and exhausting, I wasn't accustomed to sitting in a similar shut spot for such a long time. However, over the long haul, I began to discover interests. I attempted things I had never attempted. I invested much more energy with my folks than previously, and despite the fact that I didn't go out, I practiced at home. I made I had the opportunity to watch the TV arrangement and read books I never possessed the energy for! Additionally, I need to concede that for me, internet learning is a lot simpler, more adaptable and tranquil.

Lessons We Learnt during pandemic- video by Tanisha Sharma JNV Jhajjar
Video by Shreya Saxena to cause awareness about corona virus
None of us had ever expected to be affected by such a deadly disease in our lifetime. But with respect to time we all had to deal with it and become a rebel in our own way. The severity and the destruction caused will be remembered throughout however we will also remember the lessons we got to learn . First lesson was to overcome our anxiety, at the time when the shutdown first took place all of us were confined to our homes. This made us learn that at each step of our life we should save something for the betterment of our future. The economy took a huge hit, the economy should be well planned before to help the people at such a time of distress . It had improved our hygiene, the few measures that we all had to take were closely related to our personal hygiene such as washing hands regularly and using our own things . Moreover all the people carried these measures which led to social development for future. Our technological experience increased during this period , the various things which we weren’t aware of came into being . It helped in the well being of our environment, we learnt to live in a clean and a pure environment. Lastly, it made us realize the value of time and effort. These lessons will help us to make our future better.

Lessons we learnt for future
COVID-19 is a pandemic which created a destructive role to mankind but we know that a coin has two sides which are heads and tails similarly COVID-19 also has a darker side and even a lighter side but today I would like to share my views on COVID-19 about the lessons we learnt from future during this pandemic .
Sanitization importance
Earlier sanitation was not an important issue to us. I have even seen many people(pre-COVID) in restaurants who ate their meal without washing their hands but this pandemic has taught us the most important thing of self cleanliness. During pandemic people learnt to maintain their health, they need to be clean. People started washing their hands after every half an hour. Those who used eat food without washing their hands but now those people don’t put a single piece of food without washing their hands. Earlier the sanitizers which was least used is now present in each and every household. Even shopkeepers have started using sanitizers frequently which is great lesson that we learnt for future and we should follow it even if this pandemic ends. Moreover self cleaning not only makes us protected from these kinds of pandemic but also helps in getting our body resistant to many diseases
Mask importance
Mask was again a thing which was ignored and least used by people. Many people felt that mask was only to be used by doctors for surgeries and operations but this pandemic has made us learn about the importance of mask. It is the most important part of our lives since this pandemic but many people feel that after getting vaccinated their is no need to wear mask but it is a wrong state of mind since masks protect us from many diseases and even from common cold and these pandemics also won’t come by giving any warning so we should always wear masks. moreover masks protect us from pollution which is a huge problem in many states of India especially in Delhi
Development of our nation
From this pandemic we have also felt proud from our nation because earlier we haven’t face such disastrous pandemics but when these kind of pandemic started approaching India. We did not have any PPE kits and testing kits for COVID patients but this pandemic made India 2nd largest producer of PPE kits which is a proud moment for our nation. Moreover India has made cheap ,affordable and effective vaccine which is again a very good development for our nation and India is being called the ‘Vaccine Capital Of The World’.
