KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS
Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated by our school on 26 July, in commemoration of the Victory of Indian Armed forces in the Kargil campaign. Various activities were held in our school in which students actively participated and in the process students gained awareness regarding warfare and allied matter. The students of classes I and II enthusiastically made collage, sketched on the topic, painted the Tricolor flag – TIRANGA. Students were shown documentary ‘KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS’, an homage to soldiers who were martyred during the war and images related to war. Students of Classes III and IV actively participated in poster making, composed poems and made cards symbolizing the victory of India. Class V students participated by making cards, pictures, posters etc. The students of class VI & VII composed poems in English and Hindi. The students of lass IX, X and XI recalled the history of the war. Students of Class XII prepared charts related to border incidents.
