TERRIFIC Kid

TERRIFIC Kid is a student recognition program, created by the Kiwanis Club, that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perseverance. A local Kiwanis Club chapter graciously sponsors this program for Sue Cleveland Elementary. 

Each quarter (near the end of the grading period), teachers name two students per class who demonstrate what it means to be a TERRIFIC Kid. The students are recognized during a ceremony where they receive a certificate and a sweet treat, among other surprises. Family members of the award recipients will be notified and invited to the ceremony, which will be held during the school day at SCE.

*Students in K4, K5, 1st, & 2nd grade will celebrate together, and certificates for 3rd, 4th, and 5th will be awarded during a second ceremony on the same day.
