At Reedy Laurel Elementary, our Science Wet Lab is a vibrant, hands-on learning space where curiosity and discovery come to life. Designed to spark student inquiry, this interactive lab features a greenhouse, stream table, hydroponics systems, and living plants and animals, all of which support meaningful exploration of the natural world.
Students are encouraged to observe closely, ask questions, and investigate the environment around them through engaging, real-world science experiences. Whether they’re monitoring plant growth in the greenhouse, exploring water flow and erosion with the stream table, or caring for living creatures, students gain a deeper understanding of life and earth sciences.
This dynamic space nurtures young scientists as they develop critical thinking and scientific skills through hands-on experiments, collaborative learning, and a strong connection to environmental stewardship. At Reedy Laurel, our wet lab is where science gets real—and where students become active participants in their own learning journey.
