My name is Kristin Beitel and I am one of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade physical education teachers at Rudolph Gordon School. This is my 23rd year of teaching. I received a Bachelor's Degree in both Physical Education and Recreational Therapy while playing basketball at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina. Later I received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Furman University. Recently I completed a second Master's Degree in Administration. Playing sports was such an important part of my life growing up and taught me so many important aspects of life such as teamwork, hard-work, commitment and dedication. I thoroughly enjoy teaching young children the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, how to display good sportsmanship, and working together with others! In my spare time I enjoy reading, camping and spending time with my family. My husband and I have three children.
