Rules for Behavior/Classroom Expectations:
1. Students should come to class on time.
2. Students should bring necessary materials to class. They will be expected to wear appropriate attire for participation, wear tennis shoes and participate in class each day.
3. Students should keep their hands, feet, and all other objects to themselves.
4. Students should respect themselves and others.
5. Students should follow all school rules.
6. Gum is not allowed.
Consequences: In physical education we will utilize the 6th -8th grade school-wide step system as a means of accountability.
Classroom Step Plan
This plan outlines three tiers of escalating classroom interventions before administrative referral.
STEP ONE: Warning to the child of behavior and parent contact.
STEP TWO: Lunch detention for child and a parent contact.
STEP THREE: A referral will be written and parent contact by the teacher.
