My name is Kristin Beitel and I am one of the middle level physical education teachers at Rudolph Gordon. This is my 26th year of teaching physical education (19 years in the elementary level and 7 in the middle level). I received a Bachelor's Degree in both Physical Education and Recreational Therapy while playing basketball at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina. Later I received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Furman University and then a second Master's Degree in Administration through Arkansas State University. Playing sports was such an important part of my life growing up and taught me so many important aspects of life such as teamwork, hard-work, commitment and dedication. I thoroughly enjoy teaching children the importance of living a healthy lifestyle and how to display good sportsmanship and character! In my spare time I enjoy reading, camping and spending time with my family. My husband and I have three children.
