Katie Johnson

My name is Katie Johnson, and I am excited to begin my first year teaching at Plain Elementary.  I have lived in Simpsonville since I was three-years-old. My mother was a teacher for Greenville County for 30 years so I guess you could say I have the teacher blood. I graduated from USC Upstate with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education.  I have always worked with children, and I absolutely love when a child learns something new.  I have an nine-year-old daughter that just started fourth grade here at Plain. We also have a dog named Gemma. We enjoy camping, swimming, and spending time together! 

Hello, my name is Marybeth Nordstrom, and I am a paraprofessional with Ms. Johnson.  I am married, and we have a yellow lab.  I enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.  I am excited to start a new school year.  And, I can't wait to meet and get to know our new little kindergarteners.
