My name is Ashley Wiggins, and I am so thrilled to be your child's teacher. Kindergarten is one of my passions and I am so excited that I get to share my love of learning with you and your child.
I did my undergraduate study at Presbyterian College and have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have my Masters Degree of Education from Southern Wesleyan University. I did my student teaching here at Plain in the spring of 2006 and have called it my home away from home ever since. I taught the next fourteen years in first grade and moved to kindergarten in 2020.
My husband David and I live here in Simpsonville and have two children. Addie Caroline is ten and is excited to go to fifth grade. Kirklee is eight and is going to third grade. In my free time I love to be outside camping or hiking, antique shopping, reading, and spend time with my family.
I am so excited to work alongside you this year to make your child's year a successful one!
My name is Kat Sullivan. I am looking forward to an amazing year with your child. This is my 5th year with Plain Elementary. I am excited to be working with Mrs. Wiggins this year. Together as a team, we will work to ensure that your child is learning and growing.
A little about me: My husband, Doug, and I have been married for over 20 years. We have a daughter, Abbey, who is very involved in dance and theater. Her dream is Broadway, and she is on the path to achieving it.
I am going back to school to get a degree in Special Education.
We love to vacation in the mountains. We enjoy going to the theater and travel to New York yearly to see a Broadway show.
