My name is Katie James. This year, I am excited to start my twelfth year of teaching! I have taught 5th grade for 3 years in Greenville County, and 4th grade for 3 year at Plain Elementary! I am excited to start my sixth year in kindergarten this year. I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Anderson University. I grew up in Simpsonville but currently reside in Easley with my husband. I am married to Daniel James who is the librarian at Mauldin Elementary. We have three sweet little boys, Tucker, Kyle, and Jack. They bring so much joy into our lives! We also have a precious bundle of fur, our cat Flutter. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and friends! I also enjoy bike rides, photography, and traveling. I really enjoy working with students to help them grow as life-long learners, and I look forward to this school year!

Marybeth Nordstrom

Hello, my name is Marybeth Nordstrom. This is my fifth year as a paraprofessional, but my second year working with Mrs. James. I was born and raised in Fountain Inn. I am married to Richie, and we have a yellow lab named Newt.  I enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.  I am excited to start a new school year.  And, I can't wait to meet and get to know our new little kindergarteners.
