Graphic Communications 3 & 4: Advanced Production & Career Readiness
During the second year of Graphic Communications, students will build upon the foundational skills learned in Graphic Communications 1 & 2 by taking on more advanced design, production, and real-world client-based projects. Students will refine their skills in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, digital illustration, branding, typography, photography, prepress, and various print production techniques while gaining greater experience with industry equipment and workflow processes. Through hands-on projects, students will learn how to manage a project from concept development and design through production, quality control, and final delivery. Students will develop professional portfolios, explore entrepreneurship, prepare for industry certifications, and strengthen the problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills needed in the workplace. By the end of the year, students will have the confidence and experience to pursue internships, employment opportunities, college programs, or continue building their own creative ventures within the graphic communications industry.
