My name is Lesley Hipp, and I am thrilled to welcome you and your child to our class this year. This will be my ninth year in education and my first at Monarch. I earned my degree in elementary education from the University of South Carolina in 2017. I have five years of experience teaching 2nd grade and three years of experience teaching 3rd grade. I have taught in Greenville County for 8 of my 9 years of experience and was incredibly honored to be named the 2022-2023 2nd Runner Up for Greenville County Schools Teacher of the Year.

My husband, Jared, and I live in the Five Forks area with our sweet pup, Gryff! Fun Fact: Gryff is short for Gryffindor from Harry Potter! Check out my favorite things to get to know more about me!

Hobbies: I love to read, watch birds at my bird feeders, plant new plants in my garden, bake sourdough, play tennis and pickleball, and snuggle with my dog.
Drinks: Iced Vanilla Lattes, Vintage Cola Olipop, Diet Coke, Cure Lemonade Packets
Stores: Aerie, Target, Amazon, Homegoods, Sprouts, and Nordstrom Rack
Flowers: Hydrangeas and Tulips
School Supply: Colorful markers and fun stickers
Books: I love to read mysteries, thrillers, and historical fiction. Some of my favorite books are A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Chicken Sisters, Weyward, Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, and Because of Winn Dixie.
Snack: Veggies with ranch, Cuties Oranges, and Boulder Canyon Potato Chips
