Hello! I am Dr. Victoria Comey-Estoye, and this is my 20th year in education. Many call me "Dr. V," and I am incredibly excited to be your child's teacher at Monarch!
My first years as an educator were in Title I schools, then I was an Instructional Coach for 6 years at Blythe Academy of Languages. Afterwards, I was an Instructional Technology Facilitator for 2 years for Greenville County. My previous classroom experiences include teaching Kindergarten for 6 year, teaching 3rd grade for 2 years, and being a Math and Reading Interventionist for one year. I have taught and led summer school at the elementary and middle school levels. I also had the privilege of being on the EdCamp Greenville organizing team for four years.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Human Development, my Master's degree in Education, and my Education Specialist degree in Leadership and Policy Studies from Virginia Tech. *GO HOKIES!* In 2021, I proudly renewed my National Board Certification in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy, and I earned my Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in 2024.
My favorite activities are exploring the mountains with my husband, reading in a hammock, sitting by a campfire, and eating delicious food. My husband and I have a blended family, and we love making memories with our children.
