Touchpad not working? Try the following steps. Test after each step to see if the touchpad works:

Make sure there is no dust or dirt on the touchpad.
Touch the Esc key several times.
Drumroll your fingers on the touchpad for ten seconds.
Restart your Chromebook.

Session 6: Working Offline

By checking offline syncing in your Google Drive settings, you can access most of your work, edit documents, and create new ones. See the directions below on how to change your settings to allow you access to your files without Internet access. *Please note that you will need to be connected to wifi in order to enable the changes to your Google Drive settings.

Log into your school Google account and access your Google Drive. Select the settings "gear" at the top right of the screen.

Once you select Settings, a window will appear that features several Google Drive Settings options.

Check the box next to Offline - Sync your work to this computer so that you can edit offline.

Once a student logs into his/her Google account and connects with wifi, any edits made while working offline will sync and update in the student's Google Drive.
