Being a teenager is hard and comes with unique challenges. As a goal-directed therapist I work collaboratively with teens and their caregivers to create personalized, meaningful, and achievable goals. I use trauma-informed approaches and tailor therapy interventions to meet the need of each client. I actively work to create a supportive, open, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore the complex dynamics of adolescence including relationship distress, boundaries, and identity development.
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) with extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidality and a broad range of emotional and behavioral concerns. My approach is client- and family-centered, strengths based, and solution focused. I deeply believe that every client is the expert of their own lived experience, bringing valuable insight, wisdom, and resilience into the therapeutic process. I hold a Masters degree in Marriage, Couples, & Family Therapy and have supported children and families across a variety of settings for over 15 years. I have additional training in working with clients who are in foster care, adopted, or living in kinship care, and am a certified equine therapist.
When I am not at work, I enjoy hiking, spending time with friends and family, gardening, reading, and spending time in nature.
