As a born and raised Floridian, Texas transplant, and now Greer, SC resident, I try to share my love of reading, dogs, food, and learning everywhere I go.
After graduating from the University of North Florida with a B.A. in English, I became a a high school English teacher in Tampa, FL before moving to Houston, TX where I earned my M.S.L.I.S. in School Librarianship from the University of North Texas.
I'm a dog mom of 1, an aunt of 3, avid reader, novice hiker, foodie, traveler, and lover of life. I want to share my passion of literature and knowledge with others and I am so excited to be a part of our Greer family! Stop by the library today to say hi and talk all things books!
My name is Morgan Grizzle and I am a 2001 graduate of Greer High School. I graduated from Clemson University in 2005 with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. After working as a special events planner for the City of Greenville and as a buyers agent in the real estate field, I decided it was time for a career change. I was always interested in teaching and after serving as a substitute teacher for Greenville County Schools for a couple of years, I decided to take the leap. I taught Business Education for six years here at Greer High School before making the transition to Instructional Technology Specialist.
My family includes my husband John, my daughter Rae (14) and my two sons, Noah (14), and Colton (11). Our family is rounded out by our dogs, Cash , Wanda Jean, and Pearl - as well as five chickens! In my spare time I love traveling, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, and spending time with my family. I am very excited to work here at my alma mater, Greer High School. Go Jackets!!
