Important: Before Screening any student with the WIDA Kindergarten Screener, WIDA Alternate Screener or the WIDA Online Screener, please double check the Enrollment Survey Section II and ensure the student is not transferring with current scores or has already exited the ESOL program.

WIDA Alternate Screener-

• Materials for the WIDA Alternate Screener may be printed directly from the WIDA Website.  Please keep these materials secure.

WIDA Kindergarten Screener-

• Materials for the WIDA Kindergarten Screener may be printed directly from the WIDA Website.  Please keep these materials secure.

WIDA Online Screener-2nd Semester 1st grade students-12th grade students 

• For the WIDA Online Screener, please use your WIDA AMS Account to create test sessions, add students, and print test tickets.

• Be careful to choose the correct grade cluster of the assessment.

Reminder:  K W-APT Materials and Consumable WIDA Screener Materials must be printed from the WIDA Website www.wida.wisc.edu 

Chromebook Technical Issues

Some Chromebooks may need to be updated prior to testing

Go to Chrome

- Click on 3 dots on top right

- Click on Settings 

- Go to Help or About Chrome (different Chromebooks have it listed in different ways)

- Click on Update Chrome

(may take up to ten minutes to update)

• Email Kerry Culpepper if you are in need of a WIDA Website Account or access to WIDA AMS  

• Please do not email if you have forgotten your password.  You must reset that yourself by typing in your GCSD email address and clicking forgot password

WIDA Screener Quizzes

Don't forget to take do the training and take the WIDA Speaking and Writing Quizzes with an 80% or higher before screening students.  After you get your certification, you will be awarded with educator scoring rights.
