Credit: 1 Unit (Prerequisite: Law Enforcement I)
Law Enforcement II builds upon the foundations of Law Enforcement I by introducing advanced topics in policing, investigation, and corrections. Students will gain hands-on experience with crime scene processing, advanced report writing, interview & interrogation, courtroom procedures, and defensive tactics. This course emphasizes leadership, ethical decision-making, and preparation for careers in criminal justice.
· Apply advanced patrol and investigative techniques.
· Demonstrate effective communication in interviews and interrogations.
· Process a mock crime scene with proper evidence handling.
· Understand correctional systems and inmate management.
· Explore career options in law enforcement and related fields.
· Apply defensive tactics and use-of-force decision making.
· Prepare for courtroom testimony and legal proceedings.
· Same as Law Enforcement I
· Additional safety equipment as provided (gloves, training gear)
· Review of Law Enforcement I Concepts
· Advanced Patrol Procedures & Traffic Enforcement
· Investigations (interviewing, interrogations, evidence processing)
