Signed Chromebook Agreements Due August 11th
The Lenovo 100e Chromebook 11 is easy to use and boots up in just seconds. Built-in multiple layers of security help keep students safe from viruses and malware. In addition, updates happen automatically -- for free! You will never need to purchase or install upgrades manually.
The Chrome OS and Chrome browser get students online in an instant and loads web pages in seconds, and the battery provides up to 10.5 hours of power.
All student-issued Chromebooks come with a snap-on case with reinforced corners installed on the device.
Students are asked to please not use these cases as "folders" for papers, or to put anything between the case and the device. Removal of any part of this case voids the repair warranty on the device. If there is a need to remove the case, please see Mrs. Barker. Additionally, papers can shift and cause scratches on the device over extended periods of time.
When Chromebooks are issued, students also receive a charge cord and power adapter. These charging cables are considered part of the Chromebook, and are the student's responsibility to care for and keep up with.
Students are asked to come to school with their Chromebook fully charged. Students should not bring their charging cables to school. Doing so reduces the chance of the cable being lost, taken, or broken. Instead, students should have a "charging station" at home where they plug in and charge their device every night. (We recommend having this near their backpack so they don't forget it in the morning!)
