Welcome! 

My name is Megan Phillips. I graduated from Winthrop University with my Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education in 2012 and from Oklahoma State University with my Master of Science in Elementary Education in 2015. I taught 5th grade at Bethel for three years (2015-2018) before moving to California for a few years and returned in 2020 specifically to teach IMA. This will be my 8th year teaching, and I have a special passion for including creativity, curiosity, and the arts in learning.

My amazing husband Quinton and I live in Wellford with my sweet boxer Artemis, an energetic chihuahua Bruce, and a talkative cat named Aston. My hobbies are baking, hiking, trying out watersports, writing (I’ve started a kids’ fantasy novel!), reading, and spending time with family and friends.
