Being part of a music group helps students develop grit and creativity. They become actively involved in a learning process that brings people together, teaches cooperation, and demands attention to detail that is rewarding!
Auditions:
If you plan to join choir as a BEGINNER, no need to audition! However, please complete the Registration Form to let me know you want to be in chorus and I can make sure that you are on my roster before the school year begins!
If you plan to be in one of our HONOR choirs, you will need to see me for an audition! Simply email Mrs. Moyer and we will find a time that works!
Audition will be informal and nothing to stress about :) I will have you do some warm-up type vocalizing, simple sight reading, echoing, and you may sing 30-60 seconds of a song of your choice. Keep in mind I am looking for your "chorus" voice, so a pop song may not be the best choice!

WHHS Chorus Course Options for 2023-2024
Remember that all high schools in Greenville County are on block schedule. Students are required to enroll in chorus all year. See the guide below to know which TWO classes to sign up for!
Beginner Level: No prerequisites required. Anyone can enroll! 9-12 grade
Sign up for Chorus 1 & Vocal Perf 1 OR
Sign up for Chorus 2 & Vocal Perf 2 OR
Sign up for Chorus 3 & Vocal Perf 3
Intermediate Honors: Audition/teacher recommendation only. 9-12 grade
Sign up for Chorus 4 Honors & Vocal Perf 4 Honors
Advanced Honors: Audition/teacher recommendation only. 10-12 grade
Sign up for Chorus 7 Honors & Vocal Perf 7 Honors
