How to Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi
*For detailed instructions use the information provided to you from your internet provider.
- Turn on Wi-Fi. Make sure all connections are plugged in and your modem is turned on.
- At the bottom right, select the time icon.
- Select Not Connected .
- If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.
- Turn on Wi-Fi.
- Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list.
- Select the secure Wi-Fi network that your carrier provided you with.
- Type the network password provided to you from your carrier.
- Select Connect. Once the wifi icon lights up solid this means your are connected.
- If you are using a non-Grasslands Chromebook, for now, sign-in using your personal Google Account.
- Start Google Chrome.
- In Google Chrome, either sign out of your personal Google Account and sign in using your Grasslands user name and password or click on add another account.
- Sign in (use your Grasslands Account) and once signed in you will now have access to all your Google products.
