How to Connect your Chromebook to Wi-Fi

  1. Turn on Wi-Fi. Make sure all connections are plugged in and your modem is turned on.
  2. At the bottom right, select the time icon.
  3. Select Not Connected .
  4. If you see your Wi-Fi network name and a signal strength, your Chromebook is already connected to Wi-Fi.
  5. Turn on Wi-Fi.
  6. Your Chromebook will automatically look for available networks and show them to you in a list.
  7. Select the secure Wi-Fi network that your carrier provided you with.
  8. Type the network password provided to you from your carrier.
  9. Select Connect. Once the wifi icon lights up solid this means your are connected.
  10. If you are using a non-Grasslands Chromebook, for now, sign-in using your personal Google Account.
  11. Start Google Chrome.
  12. In Google Chrome, either sign out of your personal Google Account and sign in using your Grasslands user name and password or click on add another account.
  13. Sign in (use your Grasslands Account) and once signed in you will now have access to all your Google products.
