Let's take a look at the faces behind the scenes of The Scroll and the team that makes your Scrolling experience so grand and memorable!
The Scroll President
She/HerHi, my little lovelies, Rylie here! I am a senior this year at GPHS, and am extremely excited to be working with The Scroll team for another year. When I'm not working on articles, I'm highly active in both the Theatre and Choir departments in the PAC, and I enjoy volunteering for different events at the school, as well.
When it comes to writing for The Scroll, I run both the I, Anonymous and the Nostalgia columns. Usually, I stick to writing Nostalgia articles, though. It's my baby. However, while I may normally write Nostalgia, I've also dabbled in psychology, informative, and political articles. As president, I'm in charge of running meetings and being Tyrrell's spokeswoman.
If you have any questions, concerns, or if you're interested in joining our Scrollian community, then shoot me an email at r.revercomb@d7apps.gp.k12.or.us! After all, I am the president.
The Scroll Vice President
Hello! My name is Audrey Roetling and this will be my senior year at GPHS. Outside of The Scroll, I am involved in Youth Alive, Speech and Debate, a Committee Leader for Leadership, Vice President of National Honor Society, and the President of Mock Trial (my pride and joy). I mostly write about current events at GPHS through interviews and research, but I have also written about political events in the past, including the U.S. Presidential Election, the U.S. Supreme Court Case: Johnson vs. Grants Pass, and the Oregon Legislature Phone Ban. This year, I will be writing for an opinion column, called Opposing Viewpoints, with Sir Phoenix C. Robinson.
If you have questions, article ideas, or are interested in joining the team, contact me at a.roetling@d7apps.gp.k12.or.us.
The Scroll Editor
She/HerHello, I am Riley, a senior here at GPHS. This is my fourth and final year of working for The Scroll. I was a writer for the first two years and have been the editor for the past two. I am the mastermind behind the new game section in The Scroll. I like hiking, camping, fishing, and whatever else I have decided to do for a hobby. Hozier is my man. I yearn for whimsy. Big fan of Rousseau, big fan of people being born good, and a big fan of Romanticism.
If you have an issue accessing content on The Scroll or if the formatting looks weird, then just let me know. Chances are, I can fix it. I take charge of site formatting, links, and any other little details that help The Scroll.
You can contact me at r.barta@d7apps.gp.k12.or.us
Treasurer
She/HerHi, I'm Be. I'm a junior at GPHS. Outside of The Scroll, I'm involved in Theatre and National Honor Society. I will be writing about national days and events happening around GPHS.
If you have classes or teachers you want me to write about or an event going on in Grants Pass, then email me at b.bretko1@d7apps.gp.k12.or.us
Secretary
she/herHello, my name is Regan, the alpha of The Scroll, and a senior here at GPHS. I love reading, writing, making art, and causing problems. I typically write articles about delicious drama, and also-- whatever I want. You'll typically find me in Viking garb, sailing the seven seas in search of treasure. Big fan of capitalism. Big fan of Adam Smith.

P.R. Manager
She/Her
Hi, Skibidis! My name is Melanie, and I'm a junior. I've been with The Scroll for over a year now, and I have continued on this path because I love working with my friends to create this wonderful, creative, and informative project that is The Scroll. Currently, I manage The Scroll's social media page and I enjoy writing about school events and pop culture but especially politics. I absolutely adore writing satire. Aside from the school newspaper, I'm an attorney on our school's Mock Trial team. I am also very passionate about choir. I enjoy reading, writing, and singing. I like to listen to the Hamilton soundtrack, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift. I also want to head to college for a Poli-Sci degree after I graduate next year.
For any questions, concerns, or ideas for an article that I could write, e-mail me at M.Campbell@d7apps.gp.k12.or.us.
Hey guys, my name is Catie and I am a senior at GPHS. I am in my fourth year of cheerleading for GP. I love to snowboard, surf, do yoga, and hike! This is my second year as a journalism student and my first year as a Scroll writer. My main goal as a writer this year is to share what I am passionate about, which is mostly content regarding sports, like high school sports, NFL, college sports (Roll Skies!), WNBA, NBA, and even snowboarding and surfing. After high school, I plan to attend University of Oregon to study journalism and eventually work for ESPN or really any professional or college team as a sports reporter or social media manager.
Writer/Journalist
He/HimHey, I'm Jack. I am a sophomore at GPHS and this is my second year writing for The Scroll. Outside The Scroll, I am involved in the Humane Society club. I will mostly be writing about music and other pop culture topics! If you want me to write about a specific topic, then email me at: j.brouillette@d7apps.gp.k12.or.us
Writer/Journalist
She/HerHiiii, my name is Alexius, and I am a sophomore this year at GPHS. I typically write about different cultures and their traditions because I find it fun to learn and expand my views, seeing how different everyone's lives are overall. However sometimes I do write about random topics that spark my interests here and there. I love rom-coms, as I'm just a big lover girl and romanticiser. I enjoy almost every music genre-- but specifically oldies and RnB. I love to help out, especially with little kids. I find chihuahuas absolutely adorable and so derpy. I love, love, love, cute derpy stuff and hilarious things. I love to hang out with friends and, most importantly, family. I am definitely amazing at laughing and talking. Just ask my friends. I also like to eat and make sweets and spicy food.
This is my email if you have any concerns, questions or literally anything to tell/ask me: a.burnett@d7apps.gp.k12.or.us

She/herHello, my name is Elizabeth, and I am a senior here at Grants Pass High School. I joined The Scroll because I believe everyone should be informed about their community through the voice and point of view of a fellow Grants Pass civilian. I generally love to write about topics that will alter a new path for our future. You will see me write about what is happening here in our area and nationally that will impact your life. Aside from the Scroll, I am one of the leading attorneys on the GPHS Mock Trial team and am active participator in our thespian troupe. I personally have taken an interest in reading, writing, enjoying sweet treats, and dancing. My favorite book is The Honey Witch by Syndey J. Shields and my favorite type of TV show is cartoons.
After high school, I wish to attend UO (Go Ducks!) for a Sociology undergraduate and then transfer to USC for my law degree to become an attorney, because I wish to help protect the people who protected me and I want to pay it forward so others will feel inspired to become a protector themselves.
If you have any questions, concerns, or just need someone to vent to, you can contact me at e.dugan1@d7apps.gp.k12.or.us

She/HerHi, my name is Bella, and I'm a junior at GPHS. I've been with The Scroll for about a year now. I really like eating chocolate, reading books, watching movies/TV shows, and drawing in my spare time. Fall and winter are forever my favorite seasons.
I don't know exactly what I want to be when I get out of high school, but I hope it is something that can make a positive impact on the world.

Heyyy! I am a sophomore at GPHS. I enjoy photography, reading, watercoloring, and hanging out with friends in my free time. My favorite food is sushi, and I love to try all different kinds of food. In the summer, you can usually find me swimming or camping at national parks. I have seven pets, whom I love dearly, and I am a big family person. I enjoy writing about pretty much anything that interests me at the moment or events related to the month: holidays, dances, etc.

Salutations! I am a sophomore at Grants Pass High School. I love history, music, and the study of humanities. It quite blatantly reflects in much of my writing. The reason I joined The Scroll is for two big reasons. One, Jack Brouillette is in here. Two, I love to teach/inform.

She/HerI'm a sophomore at GPHS. My only school activity is The Scroll, yet I still find ways to procrastinate. I love reading, history, mythology, philosophy, and art. I have been involved with The Scroll since last year, when I wrote about mythology. This year, I will still be writing about mythology, but I am also going to try to expand my horizons to ancient history and philosophy.

He/himGreetings, my name is Caleb-- newly appointed sophomore here at GPHS. I have a dream, but I'm lost, still searching for a purpose. You'll usually always see me lost in thought, solemn and introverted. But! I'm always up to talk and meet with new people. I love to read, play games, and sometimes do art. I also collect medieval weapons, figures, and fumos. These are mostly my hobbies for now, but I plan to do gardening, making music and sewing in the future. If you know me, or want to know me, I'm very interested in what you would call "Niche", so if you want any unique book or game recommendations, then you can ask me.
As for what I do in The Scroll, I am versatile with what I make, but I will usually focus on fantasy, international news, game/game literature and maybe band/music artist recommendations. For now, I am currently busy making book reviews and will accept any recommendations if they interest me.
