With the new month (and half of last month, if we are being honest) the weather has become inherently confusing with its mood. With sun, rain and snow all at the same time, most people believe it to be winter already. Slow your roll, guys. Winter does not officially start until December 21. This month finally cues the appropriate time for all those Christmas carols that have been being broadcast unnecessarily early.
With the cold setting in, many sports are also coming to an end, but we have some starting up, as well. The marching band had their last competition and, therefore, the concert season starts, Guard begins their winter season, and football has officially closed and is replaced with wrestling and basketball. Plays are taking over the auditorium almost every weekend as well. The Scroll is a great resource to keep up-to-date on all things GPHS. If you are ever having a huge case of FOMO, then pop on by and we'll keep you updated on all upcoming school events.
Happy holidays, munchkins. The Scroll wishes you all the best wishes and happenings. Take care, drive more slowly and more cautiously, and please start wearing your jackets (Cough... cough... underclassmen.)
