How to Configure a Screen Beam

Configure USB

• insert thumb drive
• right click on drive
• click properties
• File System should be FAT32

transfer file onto usb

• Go to NE/STS drive
• screen beam folder
• SB base config new bkgrd - copy this file to thumbdrive
• extra file in the thumbdrive
• aei_config folder need to go to the USB drive
• remove the drive

Configure Screen Beam

• power on the Screen Beam
• mountains/fox - are the manufactured background
• put the USB into the screen beam
• screen beam will read files, save settings, and reboot
• new granite background will be saved

how to connect wires

• remove usb from screen beam
• insert wifi dongle (IP address will show up once authentication connects)
• if the wifi authentication doesn't work it will retry or let you NE know
• send NE the receiver name and the room it is in in the spreadsheet
  • if it is a 960 screen beam - include a 7 digit pin
• plug in HDMI - this plays the audio out of the projector speakers
• use the audio jack to convert it to a headphone jack
  • connect the splitter
• if you need it mounted to the ceiling you can put a work order in to A/V
• once the screen beam is configured you can put in a work order to A/V to install

The Difference Between Screen Beam 960 and 750

• 960- connects to wifi automatically and you can protect it with a pin
