Proficiency Based Grading Resources

There is a page on Granite's Intranet that has all content resources linked for each grade. So, instead of navigating from Math to ELA to Science, you can access this one page which links you to your grades core content areas and the resources they have for PBG assessments.

To access:

Go to the Intranet

Click on Departments

Click on Curriculum Services

Click on your grade level

Once you are on your grade level's page, it is organized by content area, click on what subject you need and you will be taken to your grade level's site

On each grade's math page is the title UTAH CORE GUIDE. The resource was created by USBE through USU. The document contains your grade's math standards, a heading CONCEPTS TO MASTER, RELATED STANDARDS, CRITICAL BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE FROM PREVIOUS GRADE LEVELS, ACADEMIC VOCABULARY, and SUGGESTED MODELS. We were told this document is where the the test question writers go to create RISE questions for your grade level. The SUGGESTED MODELS found in the guide are the state's expectations on how you should teach the concepts.
