Walk around every room in the house or walk around the block

Perform the stretches found on our PE page

• Colored paper, crayons, toys or cloths - red, green, orange, yellow, blue and purple.

• Any round object that the child can hold in both hands - paper plates, frisbees, plastic plates.

• Place the colored items throughout the house or yard

• Have students grasp the round object with both hands and tell them they are driving a bus.

  • Call out a color and have them drive to the correct color

  • Have them move freely around the area and call out different bus directions:

    • Backup: The students will say beep…beep…beep and walk backwards.

    • Windshield Wipers: The students will sway their steering wheels side to side in front of them.

    • Bumpy road: The students will jump up and down, while moving forward.

    • Flat tire: The students will hop on one foot, while moving forward.
