Each year we offer a class intended to equip teachers with the understanding and information about how to fill out the Student Proficiency Report in the spring to inform parents about their students' language proficiency and performance. While it is geared toward newer teachers, anyone is welcome to take the class to deepen their understanding of how to assess student language performance in our classrooms.
Typically the class is taught in 4 parts with one class each in September, October, November, and January. Each class runs for a little over 2 hours after school with a couple of follow-up tasks to be completed with your class in order to receive the .5 USBE credit through MIDAS. Watch for more information about registration.
