STAMP Testing Window- October 20 to November 25, 2025
Makeups or retesting for NR scores- December 1-12, 2025
Amanda Barnum sent an email with the spreadsheet of your teacher and student test codes and passwords. Make sure to use the student test code and password for test administration with students, and that the code and password matches the class taking the test.
Also, your testing code is in a dropbox link that was sent in an email from Avant.
Complete the login steps with students before test administration
Students will also need to choose between "start new test" or "continue test". The first time logging in, select "start new test." Every other time select "continue test" even if they did not start the test.
The student profile will only appear the first time students log in. For later logins, you will still need the student test code and password and SSID for each student.
Technology Check - Have students use complete the check BEFORE you begin testing.
*IMPORTANT* When students complete the technology check, a popup will appear asking for microphone access. Students MUST click "Allow while visiting the site" for the microphone to work. If they close out or click never allow, the microphone access will need to be changed in settings under Privacy and security --> Site settings --> Microphone.
ML students who have attended a US school for less than 3 years and received a WIDA score of 2.5 or lower may receive translation of certain parts of the test in English. You must complete the ML Test Accommodation plan first.
Complete the technology check before administering speaking test
Teach students to listen to their speaking recording, they may rerecord one time and add to their recording one time
Teach students to look at the mic level indicator to make sure that their voice is being picked up in the recording.
Spread students out in classroom during speaking test to avoid outside noise during recording
Tell students to answer the written prompt, do not just describe the picture.
These give tips for teachers and test takers.
