Any accommodations that your students need for an assessment, must be used throughout the academic school year and signed off by parents. Keep this plan in a file at your school for the academic school year it applies to as documentation that parents agreed to accommodate their students.
Students with an IEP, 504, or EL Testing Accommodation Plans can have directions orally translated. Directions are non-item content, introductions, and directions that appear at the beginning of the test or between testing sessions. The resource does not refer to the scripted directions for the item’s stimulus or directions for answering specific questions, etc.
Test Accommodations for AAPPL: Instructions on how to request accommodations and what accommodations are allowed.
Accommodations for ML Students: See documents below for allowable accommodations and instructions for creating the EL Testing Accommodation Plan in Ellevation.
New this year!
Language teacher will have access to both accounts in LTI. You will receive two emails from assessment with the username and password for each of your classes. You will no longer need to retrieve the username and password from the English teacher to print the labels and see results. If you are unable to see both classes using both log in accounts, please email Amanda Barnum.
NOTE: Tests are automatically submitted 14 days after the student opens a test component.
Rating reviews take 10 business days, so plan accordingly if you hope to have them retest before the window. Maximum of 10% per account. Contact Amanda Barnum if you wish to request a rating review.
All rating reviews must be submitted by December 13th. After the November 29th window closes, ratings can be adjusted but students will not be able to retake the test at that point.
