If a 2 hour delay is called, then there is no AM preschool on that day. The PM class will attend at their regularly scheduled time. The Full Day students will arrive at 12:30, with community peers leaving at their regularly scheduled 2:00 time.
Parents/guardians and staff members will be notified through our emergency call system, text, and email. The news will also be posted on our website ( https://www.graftonps.org/ ) and listed on all area news sites (I.e. WHDH, WCVB, WBZ).
We do our best to notify parents/guardians of a cancellation by 8:00 PM the night before a snow storm. This is relatively easy when a significant storm is forecasted. This becomes much more challenging when the timing, amount, and type of precipitation are uncertain. On the morning of a weather event, we strive to communicate decisions (cancel or delay) to parents/guardians at 5:30 AM. However, developing weather patterns and the status of road cleanup efforts impact the timing of our decision.
