Senior Survivor is a week long charity event where 18 seniors will be chosen to move into the high school, and live within the halls of GHS for the week until they are "voted off". Participants will compete with one another to raise as much money as possible to go towards our district Student Assistance Funds.
This year we will also have Junior Survivors partner with our Senior Survivors! 18 students across the district will be chosen to partner with our Senior Survivors as their "teammate" in the competition to help them fundraise.
During this week our contestants will be challenged, alliances will be made, money will be raised, and fun will be had. At the end of the week we will crown the survivor that has raised the most money victorious!
This year a portion of all proceeds raised during Senior Survivor will be donated to Hand2Hand.
Hand2Hand is an organization that delivers nutritious food to students over the weekends and on extended school breaks by mobilizing churches, schools, individuals, and businesses to join together, providing hope and opportunity to thrive.
How Does Hand2Hand Impact Grandville?
Hand2Hand provides meals for students in every Grandville Public Schools building. They service over 265 children, and that number is growing by the year! It costs $4 to provide meals to one student per week, costing over $1000 per week to service Grandville students alone.
