Students! Please check the Lost and Found located in the second floor locker bank near the 220 wing. All things that are unclaimed by Monday, June 1st will be donated to a local charity. There are several coats, water bottles and sweatshirts. Please check it out soon!
Seniors: If you have not yet created your Parchment account to request your final transcripts, please do so as soon as possible. You should have received an email from Parchment with a registration link—be sure to check your spam or junk folder if it’s not in your inbox. If you still cannot find the email, please contact Mrs. Ploeg.
If you plan to attend college next year, log in to your Parchment account, request your final transcript, and place the request on hold. This ensures your completed transcript will be sent to your chosen college.
Please note: After July 31, 2026, a fee will be charged for transcript requests.
End of the Year Medication Pick-Up
The end of the year is almost here! All student prescriptions and non-prescription medications must be picked up by a parent before May 29, at 12:00 pm. Medications will not be sent home with students. Medications/supplies that are not collected by May 29 will be disposed of. If you need to make special arrangements for med pick-up, please contact Tonya Vander Slice, District Nurse, at 254-6455 or tvanderslice@gpsbulldogs.org.
Medical Documentation for 2026/27 School Year
** LOOKING AHEAD:
All medical forms must be updated annually. This includes the Annual Health Form on PowerSchool. You will need to review the information and validate the next school year form. All students, regardless of health concerns, must have an updated PowerSchool Annual Health Form completed. This is found under “forms” on your PowerSchool account after Jul 1, 2026.
Any diagnosed Medical condition requiring a Health Care Plan must have updated documentation from the student’s Physician every year. A summer physical or check-up is a great time to have these documents updated. Please provide documentation to the Nurse prior to the start of next year.
**REMINDER:
New medication forms need to be submitted at the start of each school year. All prescription meds must have a Medication Administration Form signed by both a parent/guardian and the Physician.
Students may not carry any medications without a Medication Administration Form signed by a parent. Prescriptions must also be signed by a Physician that the student is competent to self-administer the medication. This includes rescue-type medications. Each student will need to meet with the Nurse to validate medication self-administration understanding at the start of the school year.
Medication forms are located on the GPS website under the Department tab labeled “Nursing Services”.
Have a healthy and safe Bulldog summer!
