GVSU Lake Michigan Writing Project
Summer Writing Camps
(3rd-12th grades + College Essay Camp)
What is it?
For four days, future novelists, poets, or journalists (grades 3-12) will have the chance to explore the wonders of writing with some of West Michigan’s finest teachers. Teachers plan writing activities that build confidence while providing the writing tools that inspire creative thinking and author's craft. Each camper will choose a piece of his or her writing for publication in the camp anthology. Our staff consists of Lake Michigan Writing Project Teacher Consultants, certified teachers who have been identified as outstanding writing instructors. These camps are ideal for students who love writing.
