Entering the seventh grade was a completely different thing than sixth. Everyday we have to wear masks since the virus is still going around. I honestly can’t even tell if the situation has gotten better or worse. Though, now we don’t have to stay in our homes. As for the school situations, you have an option to either go face to face or virtual. This year was different, but we still managed to almost finish it.
My interests this year changed a bit. Last year, I enjoyed dancing so much and I also liked to draw. Now, I don’t really have a strong passion for dance anymore. As for drawing, I realized that I never had the patience for that. I’m more into the sports that we do in school which is basketball, volleyball, and track. I think that my personality remains the same. As for my humor, my brother is the only one who understands it. I don’t think I’ve changed much except for my interests.
I do believe that I’ve grown stronger as a person and a student. I feel like I’m more careful with my decisions now. I also feel like I observe my surroundings and am able to speak up instead of just watching if something were to happen. As a student, I feel like I am harder on myself in a good way. I set a goal for myself and do everything I can to accomplish it. I also feel like I learn things faster. Although I have grown stronger and better as a person and a student, my school life continues to be the same.
The whole coronavirus situation has changed the way things in school work. We have to distance ourselves from one another, and we have to wear our masks. Though, for me, seventh grade has actually gone by fast. I hope I’m ready for the next school year!
