Times Have Changed

The times before were not the same.

It was as if we had changed our ways.

Today we have things under our names

unlike back then, there were peasants treated as slaves.

There would be a king who owned the knights.

They could be ordered to fight day or night.

Many knights no matter the height,

as high as the sky well that’s alright!

They would celebrate holidays like May Day and Easter

even Christmas which we will celebrate this year.

There are various similarities from back then to now,

though there are still differences somehow.

At that time all was good

until a plague left the world shook.

The plague called The Black Death affected everyone.

It was caused by bacteria though everyone wanted it gone.

Peasants were treated poorly

Although they worked roughly.

They were taken care of by the lords

due to all the work performed.

Back then they had their own way of living.

Electronic devices weren’t a thing.

Somehow, they survived through the difficult stage.

Their cultures and their methods just aren’t the same.

Times have changed indeed.

Just like how you could go from nice to mean.

It is as if time has made such a difference in one’s life.

Though history is still in one’s mind.
