Throughout the summer of 6th grade, I was lying around, having fun, and ignoring all school relativities; but of course, summer doesn’t last forever, and before I knew it, 7th grade had started.
Due to Covid-19, Face-2-Face school had to be suspended, and instead, we had to talk to our teachers through screens. Online School wasn't terrible, it came with advantages: I could wake up a little later, the work was relatively straightforward, and being lazy was the norm. But at the same time, these were also my disadvantages: I got used to waking up late, so when Face-2-Face school finally started in October, waking up early was dreadful. All the easy work that had been given out became a little harder, and I had to discipline myself more so I could catch up to my old school life. Luckily, I didn’t stay Online the whole school year, so I could see my friends more often and work harder. Overall, the COVID-19 Quarantine caused me to be lazy, but because of that, it also taught me to work harder; Bad habits are hard to resolve, so as of today, I'm still a bit lazy, and procrastinating on some of my projects, but I'll continue to work hard. Throughout the year, I had many prosperous and difficult experiences. For example, winning first place in the UIL Writing Category, and getting recognized for my DTWT essay. Staying in Encounters has been a great accomplishment, but it’s also been aggravating and difficult. 7th Grade went by in the blink of an eye, and I hope to continue leading a successful academic life, and one day become a prosperous woman who conquers any difficulties.
