Barbers
To become a barber you need to have training in barber school, related on the job experience, or an associate's degree. After all of the required training, there is no additional training. An average barber works around 40 hours a week and gets paid 16k-46k per year. Some extra skills a barber can have are active listening, service orientation, social perceptiveness, and speaking.
Barbers get 2-3 weeks of paid vacation and 3-4 days if you're sick or for personal time. Some bonuses are getting tips from your clients if you did a good job. Some positives of being a barber are that they can work anywhere, opportunities to socialize with new people, and it can be a long lasting career. Some negatives are that it's hard work with very little pay, there are constantly new haircuts you have to learn, and there is no room for errors or mistakes. Barbers are always standing up and they work with other barbers at the barbershop.
There will be a need for this profession in the future because people will still need haircuts if their hair grows too long. This career would best fit me because I have always been interested in learning how to be a barber and how to cut and style hair.
