Self-care is very important. It helps with your well being. Self-care for me is getting enough sleep, taking walks, praying when I start overthinking, giving myself a clean space, peaceful mindset, and spending time with my friends. Getting enough sleep is very important because it helps with your mood. If you don't get enough sleep it can cause you to be tired and not want to do anything. Taking walks can really just clear your mind. Walking around my neighborhood after school is a must. Praying reassures me everything is going to be okay. Cleaning my room with my favorite music on helps me feel better about my self and helps me want to accomplish more things. Having a mindset that is very loving and caring helps you let go of silly things that don't necessarily matter. One verse that I live by is 1 Corinthians 16:14 which is "Let everything you do be done in love." Spending time with the people I love most helps my well-being by putting me in a great mood.
