Learning from failure was very difficult because I was always a straight A student. My mother always expected 95s and above on my report cards. I take my school work very seriously. I always advocate for my grades. Social studies are not my strong suit. We had a district assessment for social studies. I was nervous because I did not know the material very well. While I was taking the test I realized that I knew a few of the questions. When Mr. Wood said that the results were out I was very anxious. Once I found my ID number a rush of disappointment took over. I saw the low score of a 70 and started to tear up. Although I was super disappointed I started to study for that subject. Once the next DA came around I tried my very best. I am very pleased to say that I got a 91!Even though it is not as high as I want it was major improvement.
