Mask

In my project I used my creativity to make my mask be inspired by ants. I painted my whole mask green to represent the grass. On the top I decided to make a ant mound out of styrofoam and added fake grass all around it. Then, I made like corns, vegatbles, and fruits out of clay and pipe cleaners to represent what Red Fire Ants eat. Near my mound I created a sign out of popsicle sticks and wrote "Red Imported Fire Ants." When painting the mask I made a last minute decison to paint fire to represent the fire in Red Fire Ants. Then I painted and made an ant out of styrofoam again. In the basket I have I QR code, which I created a website dedicated to Fire Ants. I made an online poster and collage on my website. Next to my ant I have a diagram that shows the inside of the ground. I used card stock to make it and colored it with colored pencils. I put a green boarder out of fuzzy sticks and glued it to my project. That was the last thing I put on my project and it made everything look put together.Â
