October Project (1 of 1) - Base Ten Arrays Using Google Sheets
This year third grade students will start using Google Classroom to submit assignments electronically to their teachers.
Before starting the project, the teacher should setup a Google Classroom for the students to join.
Once the classroom is setup, the teacher can assign this and other assignments using Google Classroom.
The students will use the template below "3rd Grade - Base Ten Array" to record their results. The students will take a multiplication sentence and highlight the cells or range of cells to apply formatting rules to. Please see the example below.
Nov - Dec Project (1 of 1) -
This year third grade students will start using Google Classroom to submit assignments electronically to their teachers.
The teacher should have already setup a Google Classroom for the previous project and the students should have joined. Please make sure any new students have joined the Google Classroom before assigning this assignment.
Once the classroom is setup, the teacher can assign this and other assignments using Google Classroom.
The students will use the template below "Collaborative Slideshow" to complete this project.
In this activity, students will each be responsible for a slide(s) to create a Google Slides presentation about “People Who Have Shaped Their Communities.”
Each student will be responsible for filling in the information for at least one slide in the presentation. The teacher will assign the slides to the students. Teachers may modify the content of the slides to include more historical figures or elements of the social studies lesson.
Once the student know which slide(s) they will be responsible for, they will go to the Google Classroom and open the assignment to complete their part of the Google Slides Presentation.
*** Remind students that they are to only work on the slide(s) they have been assigned to and not to change anything on anyone else's slides.
Please see the example below.
