William Wrigley; A Path To Success

There was a boy,
Whose name was William.
With much joy,
His parents raised him in Pennsylvania.
All grown up,
He caused many troubles.
All fed up,
He made his parents.
With no other option,
He was forced to work for his father.
Working 10 hours a day
Like a peasant for his father.
He switched to selling gum,
Which would leave people with a “yum”.
Once he learned the importance of advertising,
Most people could say he was the best at marketing.
He was so good at his occupation;
That he could convince the whole universe to buy his product.
With a better conduct,
He attracted more customers.
With more gum consumers,
His company thrived.
He may have neared bankruptcy,
ut he still persevered.
He became well known,
And the shining star of his time.
The company expanded all over the world;
It felt like a crime.
Competition from other companies
Didn't drop Williams' diligent sales.
He sadly passed away
At the young age of seventy.
He may have lived a short life,
But his legacy will not be forgotten.
