Global Awareness

A current event going on right now that have affected my school year are the deportations going on since Trump has been in office. It has given me fear that ICE might come into our school and take my classmates forcefully. Some people could care less, but it is one my biggest fears right now and I can't believe some people are okay with it. Not just deportations because now that I know the current president (a sexist, racist dictator) will not stand by the Constitution of the United States and will do whatever he feels like, it adds to the fear something could happen to my loved ones. I apologize if it's against what you, the reader, believe in, but this my opinion.
