During my 6th grade experience, I struggled at first to make new friends or even to fit in, but I didn't give up. Eventually I started talking to people I didn't know. From there I started getting new friends even if it was just a couple of new friends, for example, some of their names were, Ximena, Elizabeth, Destiny, and more. When making new friends I started feeling confident in talking to more people and I grew from that experience a lot; I will always remember these moments for the rest of my life.
Something I accomplished in the 6th grade was when I achieved my goal of getting better grades than last year (in 5th grade) this was one of my goals because I would always try my hardest to get good grades and now all the work had finally paid off. I now have grades im proud of. Even though sixth grade has been tough because the workload has gotten bigger, I will always remember my sixth grade experience.
During the beginning of the year I had a brief struggle with math because I would push myself to get masters, but sadly for me I couldn't manage to do that full time. Because I couldn't keep my grades up for some time, my record had some 60's and 70's which made me disapointed in myself. After I realized my scores in math class were droping, I went to math tutorials to help me get my grades up on tests. But after a few weeks, my grades weren't going up. So instead of attending after school math tutorials, I made a studying schedule for myself, and regulated my study habbits. After I few weeks I saw some progress in my grades, and now I do in some tests get masters.
When I started 6th grade some words that came to my head to discribe how it was would be, unexpected because of sudden fights that would happen in middle school but not in elementary. Challenging because we had to keep up with the grades our teachers gave us. Not only that but also adventurous since in middle school we get to choose our own elective classes. The next word would be tiring, the reason I though of this word was because I would get a lot of homework each day which can be very exhausting. Finally the last two words would be exciting and fun since it was exciting to learn how to play an instrument, and I would use fun as a word since you get to attend classes with your friends, if you're lucky. Not only that but we get to pick if we want to participate in extracuricular activities like different clubs or UIL. Sixth grade as a whole left a very good impression on me and left me with nice memories.
