About me
My Name is Daniel Henrich and I am the Art teacher at GPA. Here are some fun facts about me:
I was born in Germany and am bilingual English and German
I also have two Passports one for the USA and one for Germany (my wife is Korean, maybe my kids will have three?)
I love cats!
My favorite Korean food is Tteokbokki, or Kalguksu, too hard to decide!
I can legally operate a forklift in Germany. I have a license for that.
Why study art?
Creativity is one of the most important 21st century skills. The number of jobs that list creativity or creative thinking as a desired skill to have is constantly growing. On top of that the gaming industry is one of the fastest growing industries across the planet, Korean webtoons are taking the world by storm, the internet and our forms of communication are becoming more and more visual. Just think of all the emoji you recently sent. Art is everywhere... the image of the starving artist is obsolete. In order to be successful in the 21st century you will need to learn to be creative.
