What Makes This Portfolio a 5?

I believe my portfolio earned a top score because I focused on building skills, choosing a clear theme, and staying open to learning. By experimenting with different techniques, selecting a topic I could explore in many ways, and keeping up with my documentation, I made my work feel connected and polished. I also challenged myself to try new materials and accepted feedback from Mr. Henrich, even when it was difficult. This commitment to growth, along with showing my ideas clearly in each piece, made my portfolio strong and deserving of a 5.

I'm proud that my portfolio earned a score of 4, and I believe it’s because I focused on developing a solid theme and demonstrating a range of techniques. I put a lot of effort into exploring different materials and ideas, even though some didn’t work out as planned. Choosing a theme that I felt connected to helped me stay motivated and kept my pieces cohesive. I also made sure to keep up with documentation and reflect on each project, which helped me improve over time. Though I still have areas to work on, my commitment to growth and creativity made my portfolio strong enough to earn a solid score.
