No Prerequisites: This is a foundational course that will prepare students for grade 10 art class.
In grade 9 we desire students to explore a variety of different art mediums (painting, perspective drawing, sculpture...) with the intent of discovering what medium they enjoy the most.
Overall Goal = HAVE FUN & Create art that is personal
No Prerequisites: If you desire to follow art through your high school career, this course is recommended.
In grade 10 art we continue to build upon the skills that were acquired in grade 9. Students start to explore the technical aspects of drawing & painting. Students in grade 10 art explore landscape painting, drawing with charcoal and we also introduce printmaking by silk screening clothes!
